This is a very clean Special Order third model 1873 rifle, chambered in 44-40, with a 24" octagon barrel, button magazine, and cresent butt. It functions crisply, and has a wonderful bore, with metal showing 70+% of its original bright blue finish, and has nicely fitting light colored wood.
