This was a high quality competitor to the Colt line of metallic cartridge pocket revolvers. 5 shot cylinder. Markings are crisp with no pitting. Action is crisp like new. Rifling is excellent. This pistol has seen little use. Factory black checkered hard rubber grips. Proper markings. The pictures really tell the tale on this fine speciman of 143 year ago! It was acquired by my grandfather, John Benjamin Gillespie (1899-1973), Chief of Detectives, Aberdeen, Washington Police Department, in the 1930's and was first in his collection and then mine for more than 80 years. I have never seen one with a finer finish.
