Colt Lightning, .22 cal. slide action rifle. Serial #32469, mfg. 1898. Very Good condition. 24” octagonal barrel with good bore. Beeches folding front sight with Marbles folding leaf rear and Lyman tang sight. Barrel and receiver have 60% remaining original finish with crisp markings. Forearm slide is slightly worn with barely visible checkering. Butt stock has very good original finish with few handling marks, correct butt plate. Slide action works great – a really nice example – hard to find in this condition. Antique – can ship to your door. Approx. 90,000 mfg. 1887-1904.
