Description:
Correct 24 inch round barrel chambered in the desirable .218 Bee caliber. Bright shiny bore. Thinning original blue turning gray at the carry point by the caliber marking. Original sights include a hooded ramp front and bolt mounted peep sight with a Williams filler block in the rear dovetail slot. Most all of the original blue remains on the frame. No extra holes. Crisp action. Checkered steel butt plate. The wood is very good with only a few minor handling marks. This is a very good honest looking rare rifle that has been taken good care of. Only 5704 Model 65 rifles were made from 1933-1947. This one was made in 1941 which was the 3rd year of the .218 Bee caliber. These don't come up for sale often. A solid Winchester collectable.
