ANTIQUE Smith & Wesson Model 1 ½ .32 S&W Revolver
19th Century Concealed Carry Single Action Revolver
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 ½ Single Action Revolver, made circa 1880. This revolver is a 5 shot firearm chambered in .32 S&W. It was designed to be a very concealable revolver capable of self-defense in the closing decades of the 19th Century. Smith & Wesson revolvers were quite remarkable for their quality, even then. The No. 1 ½ features an automatic ejector that is activated by opening the barrel latch and pivoting the barrel down.
The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces have been refinished blue. The markings are still clear and legible. The grips are very nice-looking mother of pearl. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is not functional, due to the piece on the bolt that interacts with the trigger (that causes trigger return) being broken. Still a nice-looking piece.
This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
