Description:
Ithaca Model 37R Deluxe with engraved receiver. This 1953 vintage slide action shotgun is fitted with a 30 inch ventilated rib barrel (choked full), fancy checkered walnut stock and forearm, Ithaca recoil pad, and is chambered 12 Gauge. The gun is in excellent condition retaining about 95% of its original blue finish, with thinning on the sharp edges of the receiver, and wear on the magazine tube and slide rod from working of the action. The stock and forearm retain most all of their original finishes, with assorted handling marks and pressure dents. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. As stated, the left side of the receiver has been engraved with what appears to have been the profile of one of the previous owners of the gun, possibly a gift.
