The Velodog was a French design by Charles-François Galand specifically made for carry by cyclists to defend themselves against dogs. In fact, the name “Velodog” combines the word “Velocipede” with “Dog”, which is quite interesting. It was copied & produced all over Europe into the beginning of the 20th Century. It features a small size, internal hammer, and folding trigger. This model also features a safety lever. Various Spanish proof marks are located on the left side of the gun. Overall condition is good. The case colors are still vibrant in places, with a dark patina making up the balance. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are original. The bore is in very good condition. The action is currently frozen. Here is a neat little snub-nose revolver from early 20th Century Europe! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 1-3/4 inches in length. Caliber: 6.35mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL.
