Here is an almost impossible find. This is a First Model 1873 that there were only a span made in the 27XXX range, with no dust cover. It has a 24" octagon barrel, a cresent butt, and a set trigger. It is in "as found" condition, covered in rich dark patina, and has solid, well fitting wood. The action functions nicely and it actually has a bore with some rifling. A very very rare rifle.
