Description:
This is a Winchester Model 54 rifle in .270 Winchester. The serial number dates to 1932. The 24 inch barrel is in Very Good to Excellent condition with handling marks present but no pitting. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is Very Good. The top of the front bridge has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and the left side of the action has been drilled and tapped for a side scope mount. The bottom metal shows wear and evidence of pitting. The checkered walnut stock is Very Good with the left side of the butt drilled with 2 small holes near the top. The butt plate is the Winchester fitted checkered steel plate.
