Up for sale today is a US Colt Model 1860 serial no. 10548 (1861 production) and of .44 caliber (black powder). This excellent original revolver shows traces of its original finish, a military cartouche on its grips and all-matching numbers. It has a very good bore, and the revolver locks up tightly. The revolver comes with a matching holster, the pair coming out of an estate in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. An outstanding and historically significant rig, and a great addition to any discerning connoisseur’s collection.
