Lion Head IMPERIAL German Officer’s Sword
WWI-era Heer Sword with Etched Blade
Here we present an antique Imperial German Lion Head Army Officer’s Sword, made in Germany circa the early 1900s. This specimen represents the design of the Heer, the German Army. Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of this sword is the lion head pommel with eyes made of red gems. There is a maker’s mark under the langet. The sword is in very good condition.
