Description:
Up for sale today is a US E. Robinson Model 1861 dated 1863 and of .58 caliber. This Civil War era rifle musket was produced as a contracted copy of the US Springfield Model 1861. The stock on the rifle is excellent, and the metal parts show an excellent patina. The rifle came out of an estate in Winchester, VA in the Shenandoah Valley. An excellent rifle and a great addition to any collection.
