Mahlon owned a museum in Bluffton, Indiana. A number of the guns were marked with his name, regiment and company. This carbine was one of those firearms. This is a museum quality carbine. Barrel retains most of the original brown laquer finish. Brass is in good condition throughout. Stock is in good condition. Mechanically sound.
