Winchester Hotchkiss Model 1 Carbine chambered in 45-70. This was one of the first bolt action rifles produced by Winchester. Unique to this gun is a tubular magazine in the buttstock that is loaded from the receiver. The magazine cutoff is shown on the rightside of the stock. A saddle ring is located on the leftside of the stock. This one is in amazing condition for it's age. Item will ship FedEx ground. Cost for S&I is $70.
