Description:
Serial #108360, .44 caliber, 8" barrel with a very good bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves. This 1863 manufactured revolver has all matching numbers, including the wedge and cylinder arbor. The metal has a mostly dark, blue-black patina, with mild freckling and small impact marks scattered about, as well as some mild brightening along the cylinder. The brass triggerguard has a mixed yellow and brown-ochre patina. The walnut grips are in good shape but exhibit moderate wear with numerous handling marks and blemishes under the re-applied oil finish. The lock-up is still quite tight, and the mechanism is fully functional, with a small amount of binding in the cylinder. This is a good looking 1860 Army and would make a nice addition to any collection. Antique
