Description:
Serial #87774X, .303 British, 25" barrel with a fair bore that has moderate pitting and flaking within the grooves. This is a 1962 dated, import marked rifle that has matching numbers on the bolt and on the nosecap. The metal has 80-85% of the armory-applied black Suncorite finish remaining which has flaked to reveal the underlying gray-green phosphate finish. The brass buttplate has a dark yellow-ochre patina and the stock compartment is empty. The forend and handguards are in good-very good shape with light-moderate handling marks and surface blemishes while the copper wire wraps are intact and the Ishapore bolt is relatively bright. The buttstock also has scattered bruises and blemishes, heaviest at the buttplate, and a small arsenal repair at the heel of the butt and a small “36" rack number painted in white on the right side. An original 10 rd. magazine is included. This is a great looking Ishapore grenade rifle and is in fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
