Description:
Colt Model 1849 5” Pocket Revolver with 2 Line Hartford address
S/N 181546 Mfd in 1859.Excellent to fine condition. Barrel retains 80% blue and starting to plum out with normal wear and ding marks from use. Cylinder scene is crisp and well defined. Grips are near perfect with two small wear spots on each side of grip bottoms. Backstrap retains 90+% silver plate while trigger guard is about 40%. Strong but aged case colors remain on frame and loading lever. Mechanics are tight with safety pins intact though one is mashed.
