Description:
This lovely gun was manufactured In Birmingham, England in 1882 or 1883 by W.C. Scott & Son and sold in London under the Blanch name (serial number 5423). Is is a 12 bore with 30 inch Damascus barrels choked I.C. & I.M and still retains its 2 9/16 chambers. The weight is right at 7 pounds, with a 14 1/2 LOP and drop at the heel of 1 9/16. The condition is extremely good with much case color and all stock finish remaining. The barrels still have virtually all of their finish as well. The gun was the subject of a lengthly article by William Headrick in the Summer, 2005 issue of Double Gun Journal, beginning on page 122, and looks the same today as when it was photographed then. Please call Peter Morgan 406 842 7655 or 337 241 6689 cel. for more info. Thank you.
