Payment Types Accepted: cash, check, Description: This Colt 1883 (serial number 4637) is a 12 bore Grade 2, delivered in 1900 (the Colt letter dates its manufacture to 1890 - did it sit in their warehouse for 10 years?). It has 32 inch Damascus barrels, both choked .704 (modified). The chambers are 2 3/4 inches and the LOP is 14 3/16 with a drop of 2 7/8 at the heel and 1 3/4 at the comb. The weight is 8 lbs. 4 oz. and I do have a factory letter for it. The fiinish, overall is very good with a few small dings in the stock and a very small chip at the toe and also the corresponding area of the butt plate. It appears to have a bit fancier engraving than most grade 2 guns I,ve seen. Please call Peter Morgan at home / shop 406 842 7655 or 337 241 6689 my cel for more info. Thank you. SOLD Antique: Yes |
