SOLD PENDING FUNDS: This is a pre model 27 N frame revolver. It is in .357 magnum caliber with the desirable 3.5" barrel. It was manufactured in ~ 1952 and is rated at 99% original condition. The only distraction is a cylinder turn line. The carbona blue and high polish definitely set it apart from the later model 27's. This comes with it original, numbered Walnut magna style grips along with the Custom Ivory grips with the S&W medallions that are on the gun. Target sights, hammer, and trigger are in excellent condition. The bore is mirror bright and all the mechanics function flawlessly. These early 5 screw square butt target N frame revolvers are getting very hard to find especially in this condition. A great investment and addition to any collection of fine firearms.
