Description:
This Parker has 28” barrels with 2 ¾” chambers and choke constrictions that measure .021 right and .028 left. The bore diameters measure .664 right and .663 left. The barrels retain 95% original finish with various light handling marks and case wear at the muzzles. There is a small ding in the bottom of the right barrel. The center rib has a single silver bead and is marked PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL. The bores are clean and shiny. The #1 frame retains 70% original case coloring. The trigger guard retains 60% original bluing. The forend iron retains 40% original color. Double triggers, ejectors and automatic safety. The forend has had varnish added and has a couple of rub marks near the receiver. The pistol grip stock has had varnish added and has numerous light scratches and dings. There is a small chip at the toe of the stock. Length of pull is 14 1/4” to the front trigger over a Noshoc recoil pad. Drop at comb: 1 1/2"; Drop at heel: 2 5/8"; weight: 5.7 lbs. Mechanics are fine.
