Description:
*ON HOLD* A particularly attractive Sedgley Springfield, with some unique features. Note the unusual checkering pattern, front sight base, handsome wood grain. Stock channel and key metal components marked with matching assembly number 24. Wood appears crack-free, and has the signature "checkered bit" behind the tang, horn grip cap, schnable. Fresh Silvers pad is fitted to a higher than usual standard, with 13-1/2" pull over the serrated trigger. Fine rust blue finish appears just about perfect over the metalwork, even under the stock line; finish may have been freshened-up in the not too distant past, because it looks almost too good. 24" Sedgley proof 4-groove barrel has been shot a good bit, has a clean chamber and retains a strong 80% bore, possibly better. Sedgley serial #16xx stamped in the receiver tang. Call or email for more details. CA sales OK.
