SCARCE REMINGTON-RIDER D.A. PERCUSSION .31RF CAL. POCKET REVOLVER CA. 1859-65. Only 2000 made and most were conversions to .32RF cartridge. 5 shot with 3” barrel having a crisp “Remington’s, Ilion, N.Y.” address with Rider’s patents and dates “AUG. 17, 1858 & MAY 3, 1859”. All original and matching in very good to fine original condition. Minor blue mixed with original patina on metal and excellent gutta-percha grips. Working order and very good bore and chambers. Rarely seen for sale in percussion.
