CIVIL WAR ERA NEPPERHAN F.A. CO., YONKERS, N.Y. 31 CAL. POCKET REVOLVER. 5 shot with 4” octagon barrel stamped “NEPPERHAN F.A. CO. YONKERS, N.Y.”. Distinctive design with removable side plate on left side of the frame as well as a separate brass trigger guard instead of integral as on the Colt and Manhattan. All original with exception of the loading lever screw which is a period replacement. Very good overall with crisp original patina on metal. Walnut grips with the original finish. Excellent screws. Working order and fine bore and chambers. Scarce with only about 5000 made.
