Chambers: Single Shot - Falling Block
Metal Condition: Good, has a shallow rust/pits distributed over all surfaces. There is a bit of blue remaining in the most sheltered spots, but is fading to patina in most areas.
Wood Condition: Fair to good. Has a large number of scratches, dents, digs and a couple chips. Nothing unusual in a gun of this age but they do exist.
Bore Condition: Clean and bright.
Barrels: 28 inch
Stock: Straight grip smooth walnut.

Fore End: Musket style full-length forearm with finger groove
Butt Pad: Curved steel plate.
Weight: 8 lb. - 14 oz.
Sights: Blade and peep. Peep has worm drive for the traverse in windage, and elevation is a locking rack and pinion arrangement. Rather high tech for the time.
