London: Using a 98 Mauser action, Jeffery made this into their famous Takedown 333 Rimless Nitro Express on a Mauser Action, This is a split-in-the-middle Takedown with typical barrel threads, It is with a 20" Krupp steel barrel with a band island rear sight with 4 folding rear blades, Band front ramp, Sling eye on the barrel. An original Lyman lever elevator peep sight mounted on the bolt release. Nitro proof at cordite 42 & 300 max, military style floorplate with a bullet point release, Mauser wing safety, A classic Jeffery pre-war stock, Horn grip cap, Point pattern checkering, 14 1/8" L.O.P. over a checkered steel buttplate with a trapdoor. This piece remains original and in excellent condition, The original blue remains at 80% The original stock finish remains at 80%. The bore is excellent
