Low Serial number 493J
Stamped code "AC 41" (made by Walther in 1941)
Dark brown bakelite grips. Gun has the Eagle/359 Nazi proof marks.
All matching Serial numbers: 493J with two matching magazines.
Nazi German proof marked "135" P38's replaced the Luger pistol as the standard service weapon for the Third Reich’s Wermacht.
Gun has a high percentage of blue compared to many other P- 38's. Very minor finish loss from use with edge silvering.
Barrel has an excellent bright and sharp bore and the breech is in very good condition.
