Description:
OFFICERS MODEL .38 SPECIAL WITH SCARCE AND DESIRABLE 7 1/2" BARREL WITH ADJUSTABLE TARGET SIGHTS, MADE 1920, these were all and put together and fitted by Colt's finest craftsmen of the day, nice example that shows carry use, but is mechanically excellent inside and out, fine barrel blue showing some light muzzle wear, cylinder blue lightly thinning only with some minor edge wear, fine frame blue with gray on grip straps and a bit on the bottom edge of the trigger guard, factory checkered back strap and trigger, hammer still shows nice fire blue as does the trigger, exc. markings including the rampant colt on the frame and the correct 1905 patent date on the barrel, checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions are worn but solid, still lots of life left in this 1920 vintage target model with scarce long barrel that would be too expensive to produce today!
