Description:
It is estimated that only around 10,000 Remington 51's were made in .32 caliber which makes this a very rare pistol. This is an even more rare variation in that it does not have the anchor, but has the sun on front of the trigger guard. The sun was used in 1922 and 1923. On the left side of the trigger guard there are two letters which is a date code. I don't have the date codes, but based on what I know, I think this one was manufactured in 1923. The bore is excellent and shows little use. Action works perfectly. Grips are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The original finish is excellent with very little edge wear. It is a very high percentage piece. Notice the fire blue parts. They look great against the original blue on the rest of the pistol. Magazine is correct for the pistol. Markings are clear and original. Remington Model 51 in .32 caliber is a hard find. Here is your opportunity to add a nice one to your collection.
