Description:
.36 cal, #86642 (1858), 7 1/2 inch barrel, blue and case color, 1 piece hard wood grips, all matching numbers.
Inscription appears to be "David Easterly" who served in the Tennessee 1st Cavalry.
Condition: Excellent sharp bore, 70% barrel blue, sharp cylinder scene retains 40% thinning blue, frame retaains 80% melleow case colors, loading lever 30%, hammer 20%, Brass back strap and trigger guard still have 90% silver wash, grips have storeage dings and 70% finish, front edge of cylinder is silver as if someone removed oxidation from the front edge and face of the cylinder, safety notch is weak, other wise excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
