Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: We have a pre WW2 Remington Model 11 shotgun that was purchased by the U.S. Military to teach shooting techniques to pilots and aerial gunners to improve their skills shooting down enemy airplanes. The pilots and gunners were given skeet shooting lessons by instructors who taught them the principles of leading a moving target and shot deflection. The 26 inch "Cylinder" choked barrel is clearly marked with the U.S. Ordnance flaming bomb proof mark. This denotes that it was owned and accepted by the U.S. Military. The condition of this Remington Model 11 is very good with 85 to 90% of the original blue finish remaining, and a minty bright bore. The exterior shows some areas that have had some light surface rust, but no deep pitting. The original Walnut stock set shows some wear from use, but overall it is solid with a nice original "Remington" butt plate that is free from cracks or damage. Everything on this shotgun works 100% like it did when it left the factory. This is a real piece of U.S. Military/Army Air Corp history, and the training that our pilots and aerial gunners did with this shotgun made them much more efficient in the air against the enemy.
