Custom .338 Win Mag built on a sporterized BRNO VZ-24 barrelled action. 24” barrel with excellent bore.
METALWORK: Complete top-to-bottom metal re-work done by respected gunsmith Stuart Satterlee of Satterlee Arms (satterleearmsrifles). No maker's mark on rifle, but have receipts for all work done by Stuart including: Recontour rear receiver bridge; open up Talley bases to accept more robust 8x40 size screws; drill & tap front and rear receiver for 8x40 size screws (2 screws each base); fit & install customer-provided commercial Mauser Oberndorf lever-release bottom metal; feeding & function tuning, including re-machining feed rails and re-working shape of feed ramp; fit and finish Talley Classic bolt handle; install barrel banded sling swivel 11”; install NECG Masterpiece banded & hooded front sight with fixed bead plus larger flip-up night bead. Rear scope base factory milled by Talley to also accept removeable Talley peep sight (included) as backup to mounted optics (Meopta MeoPro 6x42 scope with German #1 reticle in Talley matte screw-lock release rings; NOTE - screw lock release rings can easily be converted to lever-lock release at minimal cost with purchase of set of replacement levers and screws from Talley). Satterlee Arms 3-position horizontal safety and Timney trigger. Rust blue finish.
STOCK: Modified Butler Creek M98 synthetic stock with black granite pattern hydographic finish.
