Description:
Beautiful Thomas Newton of Manchester UK Double Rifle. SN:2412. Cal - 500 -3" BPE. Nicely patterned 28" heavy damascus barrels. Top rib inscribed "Thos. Newton Manchester". One standing and two folding express sights. Sling swivel ring on bottom rib. Barrel bottoms  marked with initials "WF" and proofs. Extractors.  Case colored and scroll engraved Jones under-lever action. Non-rebounding hammers with stalking safeties. Nicely figured English walnut straight grip stock and forend. Horn buttplate. 14 1/2" LOP.

Condition: Gun is in excellent, as-found, original condition. Barrels retain nearly all of their original pattern. Bores crisp and clear. Case-color remains conservatively at 50% with nice purple and blue hues. Engraving is crisp. Wood finish is clear and scant (if any) handling marks. Mechanics function fine.

Gentlemen, this is quite a nice gun by a well respected Manchester maker. Would make a great collectible or vintage shooter.
