The fit of wood to metal is perfect. The engraving is simply superb. The "life-like" expressions of the animals will bring a smile to your face. This gun has the Patent feature called the "Nimrod". Among its special Features are the "stepped action" which provides extra strong lock-up, these guns will never shoot loose! This patented feature is still in use today. Another neat feature of the Nimrod is a special "tool" that is hidden underneath the side plate. This tool allows the Spring to be clamped, and the action can than be fully disassembled. Condition: Excellent , all original 98% of all finishes. Very minor handling marks. Bores are bright and shiny. Gun locks-up tight on face with or without the forend attached.
