Description:
U.S. Model 1842 Manufactured at Harpers Ferry. Lock dated 1850 and tang dated 1850. All metal parts are in very good condition and markings are crisp. Stock is solid and shows scattered light dings. No chips and no cracks. Gun has an old collector’s tag “S. Duff”. These brass collection tags were popular among collectors from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. Very good 1842 smooth bore musket.
