Description:
Chiappa Puma Bounty Hunter "Mare's Leg" .44-40 Winchester. The "Mare's Leg", made famous to millions of TV veiwers watching the 1958 hit western, Wanted Dead Or Alive, starring Steve McQueen, as Josh Randall, the Bounty Hunter. The series ran for three seasons from 1958 to 1961. Many a youngster got a "Mare's Leg" toy gun for Christmas during the years the tv series aired. The firearm is in excellent condition with just a few minor issues. This firearm is classified as a handgun because of the 12" barrel, short butt-stock and overall length. Comes with the factory box, manual and other papers.
