This winchester saddle carbine was born in 1947,. The action is crisp an snappyThe finish is 95 % original blue with just a tad of carry wear underside the receiver just starting to thin.. Screws appear to be untouched by a screw driver. the wood is that beautiful deep red showing no cracks or chips does show minor handling marks after all this is 70 years young. The bore is bright and shiney with deep rifeling. Please note if you are a new collector this cal 32 win spl is the rarest cal of all winchesters ever made. So say's George Madis who wrote the book on winchesters . even old timers get this wrong lol.
