Description:
From the movie BUTCH AND SUNDANCE THE EARLY DAYS. This 4 3/4 inch barreled .45 Caliber Colt single action manufactured in 1889 was carried by TOM BERENGER  in his portrayal of Robert Leroy Parker alias BUTCH CASSIDY. It was also carried by WILLIAM KATT in his portrayal of Harry Longabaugh alias THE SUNDANCE KID This gun is presented to you with full provenance. 
Which includes the original CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY from ELLIS PROPS & GRAPHICS. 
  Upon which it states that this is a "Prop Colt" "Serial No. 129159"  of Ellis props & graphics. The frame and the cylinder are both stamped with an (E) for Ellis.   Also included is the Colt letter for the Colt SAA of the same serial number.  See photos for letter details. Also included is a 41" X 27" Lobby poster of the movie and a DVD of the movie. This gun was sold off on Jan. 6 2000 when Ellis Props closed. This  antique Colt is in perfect working order, with  bright bore. Included with the Colt is the 5 1/2" barrel that was used when firing blanks. The bore on this barrel is highly corroded from the blanks. Any Colt collector or western movie buff could not do better than to own this highly collectible grouping.  As an antique it can be shipped directly to you, no FFL needed. Adult signature required.
