Here is maybe the rarest rifle that I know of. This is a wonderful, out-of-the-closet 1886 full octagon, full magazine TAKEDOWN, chambered in the ultra rare 40-70. It has a cresent butt, has a generous amount of its original bright blue finish, and has nice, light colored, well fitting wood. The bore has nice rifling, and the action functions beautifully. A super nice rifle.., and is the only one that I've ever even heard of.
