Serial number 12106xx, from the first block of production. Winchester barrel with a bright bore. Very desirable WRA high wood stock. Other major components are Winchester but some parts are mixed, all are described below and shown in pictures. No import marks. This carbine is in very good used condition. The carbine has been disassembled, examined, cleaned, lubricated, and test fired, see our video on our YouTube channel Fernwood Armory TV. Magazine, sling and oiler noted below are included, along with a reprint of the M1 Carbine Field Manual. Winchester M1 Carbine sn 12106xx Specs: Receiver: manufactured, Oct 1942-Dec 1943. Excellent condition, no pitting. Rear sight: Adjustable, stamped, marked “I.R. CO. 7160060” Barrel: Winchester, one piece with integral gas piston, long skirt, marked “W”. Bore is bright and shiny. External finish excellent, no pitting. Muzzle Wear (MW): 1 1/2 Front sight: marked “N”, Inland Bolt: flat, parkerized, marked “S 14”, Standard Products Firing pin: marked “SG”, Saginaw Gear Extractor: marked “W.I.”, Inland Barrel band: late with bayonet lug, marked “SI” Trigger housing: marked “W” on left side, no pitting. Also marked “H” near trigger guard Safety: rotary, circled S Operating slide: late type, marked “UN”, National Postal Meter Hammer: marked “WMB”, IBM Trigger: marked “SN”, National Postal Meter Sear: marked “W” Magazine catch: 15 round type, “M CC” Stock: walnut, oval cut high wood, correct for the serial number. Marked “W.R.A. G.H.D.” on right side with crossed cannons, a very sharp stamping. Also marked “W” in sling well. Although the carbine is of course a rebuild, there are no rebuild marks on the stock. No cracks, relatively few dings/scratches, very nice appearance. Handguard: walnut, marked “S-HB”, 2 rivets, same condition as stock Buttplate: unmarked with square checkering pattern Recoil plate: marked “W” Magazine: marked “IW” Sling: D-tip, used, may be of the period Oiler: marked “IS”, used by most manufacturers Also includes a reprint of the 1942 field service manual TERMS PAYMENT
