Description:
This rifle is 1937 dated Izhevsk Arsenal built rifle has no visible import marks. Barrel is 29" with a fair plus bore showing reasonably strong rifling but is also dark with pitting. Mismatched serial numbers throughout. Metal surfaces are a mix of fairly strong blue on the receiver and breech end of the barrel with the triggerguard and buttplate mostly a gray patina. Stock has numerous dings and dents with heavy chipping inside the cleaning rod channel as well as flaking finish. Handguard has a poorly executed near full length repair with dried glue on each side No cleaning rod or sling swivels.
