This is a scarce early ANTIQUE Extra Long octagon barreled 1892 that is 4 inches longer than standard. It has a full length magazine and a cresent butt, and is chambered in 38-40. The metal has turned to an appealing overall plumb brown with hints of original blue showing through in places. The wood is wonderful, fits nicely and has a great look. The action levers well, and it has a shootable bore with visible rifling.
