.451 Whitworth Double Percussion Rifle (circa 1860)
Known as the Holy Grail in percussion double rifle, barrels made from one solid piece of bar stock. Rarer still, this is one of the rifles that had the ram rod under the barrel. Most were stalking rifles with no ram rod. Some say there were only 15-20 of these build. This rifle will shoot 4” groups left & right at 100 yards-target included. Gun is in period but not original case. Condition is approximately 60% with dents and storage dings in stock. Good bores. Very rare
