Description:
Serial #N709462, .357 Magnum, 8 3/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a pinned and recessed revolver that retains virtually all of the original bright nickel finish with only a few very minor surface scratches and minor blemishes scattered about the surface. The hammer and trigger have nearly all of their original color case-hardening remaining with some barely noticeable gray fading along the edges and there is a light turn-ring on the cylinder. Interestingly, the barrel pin and the ejector plunger pin were only finished on the left side, despite both of them being factory original. The pin ends are raw and proud of the frame metal on the right side. The checkered S&W Goncalo Alves target stocks are also in excellent shape with very little wear and only minor flattening of the points. The revolver is housed in a blue, two-piece S&W box that is devoid of markings save for the numbered S&W end label. This is an excellent example of an N-frame .357 magnum, with an unusual factory flaw, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL
