Lefever Nitro 12 Ga. 30" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers. Manufactured in 1937, this gun has aged well. Barrel flat shows left barrel is stamped Full and the right barrel Modified. However, my choke gauge measures the right barrel as Improved Cylinder. No way to know if the right barrel was incorrectly stamped at the factory but F/IC is a nice late bird season combo. Blueing on receiver and trigger guard are mostly gone but the barrel blueing is quite nice. I'm not sure if the barrels had been reblued at some point since the barrel blueing is mostly all there. There is a small ding in the left barrel 2" from the muzzle as evidenced in that photo. The forend wood shows handling marks and the stock shows little in the way of handling marks. A Pachmayr recoil pad has been added at some point in its lifetime putting the length of pull to front trigger at 14 3/4". Overall, this gun is in good condition and locks up tight with no play. Gun will be shipped broken down. Must ship to your FFL and your FFL must allow a gun to be received from a private seller. Gun is also C&R eligible. Buyer pays actual shipping cost.
