Not only is this S&W 629-3 Classic Revolver in excellent plus condition it is the scarcer version with the 5 inch barrel and also in the Pre Lock version. Any of the so called Pre Lock revolvers are more desireable than the ones with a locking key which are built for lawyers and not shooters. They are appreciating rapidly now - I mean who in the hell wants a revolver that you lock with a key? Would have been a good issue arm for Barney Fyfe back in the day - a good companion for the single cartridge in his shirt pocket.
