Antique L.C. SMITH 10 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun
“MAKER OF THE BAKER GUN” Exposed Hammer Double Gun
Here we present an antique L.C. SMITH MAKER OF THE BAKER GUN” 10 Gauge Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun, made circa 1881 in Syracuse, New York. This gun was intended for sporting purposes and is nice and stout for the 10 Gauge chambering. An interesting feature of this gun is that it does not have an additional lever to open up the breech. Just push the front trigger forward to break the gun open!
The overall condition is very good. The Damascus pattern on the barrels is still quite visible. The case colors on the frame are faded, but still there. The markings are clear and legible. The bores are in good condition, clean. The action is excellent. Here is a great, 130+ year old shotgun!
