.45 acp, 5 shop manually operated double action pistol. One of approx. 600 mfg. by the Semmerling Corp., Boston, Mass. in the earely 1980's. Designed as an extreme defense hide-away pistol for covert operations by the Gvmt. It functions by manually moving the slide forward to eject the empty case and load the next round when retracted. Considered the smallest .45 acp pistol made. Excellent original condition.
