Description:
Army holster for a large frame double action Colt or Smith & Wesson. This holster is in modified fair condition. There is a good chance this holster saw service in the Spanish-American War or went to Mexico with Pershing's men in pursuit of Pancho Villa. The holster is constructed of high quality leather with crazing. All stitching is intact and the bottom plug is tightly sewn in. It has a half flap with brass button. The button is intact and functions as it should. The belt loop has been replaced by US marked belt hook. This holster would be most suitable for display with a early period Military revolver.
