Description:
Caliber 44-40. Original flip up ladder carbine rear sight and a blade front sight. Walnut stocks in excellent condition with most all original varnish. Barrel and mag tube retain about 95% slightly toning blue. Excellent markings. Receiver retains 95% blue. This is a higher number gun so it has the "Japan" style finish which looks darker than the blue on the barrel and magazine. This is an Eastern Carbine. 1892 carbines are hard to find in 44 WCF and this is an excellent gun that would be hard to improve upon.
